Woman murdered at Dummalli near Shivamogga

A woman was murdered by two people at Dummalli near Shivamogga on Sunday, November 9.

Gangamma, 50, died on the spot after she was allegedly assaulted by Harish Naik and Nagesh Naik, her neighbours. Gangamma is survived by two sons and her mother. The Tunga Nagar Police arrested the two accused in the case.

The accused picked up an argument with Gangamma and her family members over a petty issue. An old rivalry with her family members could be a reason for the assault. Gangamma’s son Jeevan filed a complaint with the Tunga Nagar Police.
