"Working on three types of plans so tourists do not get stuck in long traffic jams": Uttarakhand CM Dhami

With tourist footfall increasing in the state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday said the administration is actively working on measures to prevent visitors from getting caught in long traffic jams.Speaking to mediapersons, Chief Minister Dhami said that the government is working on three types of plans--short-term, medium-term, and long-term. He added that assistance from the central government would be sought if required."... A proposal to construct elevated roads at two places in Dehradun has been put forward.

The problem of Kainchi Dham is also becoming a big problem because the number of tourists there is rising. We are working on that too. Wherever necessary, we will seek the Indian government's cooperation too.
