Workshop on forensics held in Mysuru

A workshop on ‘Insights to Forensics’ was conducted by MMK & SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya to highlight recent advances and trends in forensic science, here on Wednesday.

The objective of the workshop was to equip the participants with the basic concepts and recent trends in the field, and familiarise them about various tools and techniques used by forensic laboratories for detection of crime.

The broad themes of the workshop included introduction to forensic medicines and toxicology, crime scene investigation, and role of DNA tests in crime investigation.
