‘World Will Consider Vishwaguru When…’: Mohan Bhagwat Emphasises India To Develop Spirituality, Dharma

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said India will be recognised as "Vishwaguru" when it advances in spirituality and dharma, highlighting India's unique values at a Nagpur event.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday said that the world will recognise India as “Vishwaguru" when it will progress in spirituality and dharma.

While addressing an event in Maharashtra’s Nagpur, the RSS Chief said that it is not surprising that the country’s economy is above $3 trillion, as many countries are rich.

He emphasised that today’s world wants spirituality and dharma, which only India has.

“Even if our economy is above $3 trillion, it is not surprising, because many countries are rich. But we have spirituality and dharma, which the world wants now, and only we have it. When we develop in these two dimensions, the world will recognise us as Vishwaguru…" he said as quoted by news agency PTI.

Bhagwat said that India should be fearless like Lord Shiva, which means only those who are powerful are fearless.

On Wednesday, the RSS chief said that dharma is the truth and a sacred duty, and following it with responsibility helps maintain peace in society.

He emphasised that it is society’s responsibility to ensure people do not stray from the path of dharma.

“The world needs dharma that embraces diversity, like Hinduism. Dharm teaches apnapan (oneness) and acceptance of differences. We may appear diverse, but at our core, we are the same," he said.
