The big Night in France is here as WWE welcomes fans into the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre for Clash in Paris. The third match of the night is between the Intercontinental champion Becky Lynch and challenger Nikki Bella. There have been some really intense confrontations between the two women - Lynch making that crude remark about Nikki's past relationship with John Cena and the latter calling out the title belt holder for being a b*tch.

Now, they are finally face-to-face for a match that will decide if the IC belt stays with The Man or if we have a new champion.

Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella are at the top of their game

The segment started with the challenger making her way onto the stage, followed by the current champion - Becky Lynch. Lynch was challenged by Nikki Bella for the Intercontinental Championship title, and both are equally hyped to get things going. This is the diva's second singles match since she made her comeback at Royal Rumble 2025, with the first being her victory against Chelsea Green back in July.

A month and a half later, Nikki is at a PPV, facing one of the biggest female stars to come out of the promotion since The Bellas. She tries to take control of the situation early on, but Lynch is not one to let her have that so easily. The audience singing "Becky, Becky Lynch" even with her ongoing heel run also boosts her confidence.

Becky Lynch retains her IC title belt

Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella both came in strong - with Nikki trying to prove she still has what it takes to become a title holder, even without her sister, and Lynch trying to retain her title at all costs.

While a Rack Attack 2.0 was blocked by Lynch, Nikki was able to hit her opponent with a Manhandle Slam - oh! the irony.

Clash in Paris goes in Lynch’s favor. It was a backslide that became the undoing of Nikki Bella, who went down for good. Lynch fights out a Dis-Arm-Her and takes the win to retain her championship belt once again.
