Wrestling fans in Mexico are in for a treat as WWE officially announces two back-to-back Supershow events this July, promising high-octane action and some of the biggest names in the business.
During the AAA Triplemanía Regia broadcast on June 15, WWE confirmed that it will return to Mexico with two live Supershow events scheduled for Saturday, July 26 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, and Sunday, July 27 at Arena Monterrey. This marks WWE’s first tour in Mexico since 2024 and comes on the heels of the company’s acquisition of AAA, highlighting its deeper push into Latin American markets.
A roster full of star power
Though official match cards have not been announced, WWE has revealed a lineup filled with top-tier talent.
The likes of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio are expected to perform.
WWE Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky, Stephanie Vaquer, The New Day, Rey Fenix, Penta, and newly crowned United States Champion Jacob Fatu are also part of the roster, ensuring a mix of global superstars and Latin fan favorites.Tickets for both shows go on sale Thursday, June 19 via SuperBoletos.
The announcement has sparked excitement among wrestling fans online. One fan wrote, “WWE going global once again! Lucha vibes + WWE energy = absolute chaos in the best way!” Another praised Iyo Sky’s inclusion, while some speculated whether the event could evolve into a “luchador showcase” on a grand scale.
Social media chatter suggests that WWE’s Mexican fanbase is ready to welcome the company back with open arms, especially given the strong representation of luchador culture in the advertised lineup.WWE previously held two house shows in Mexico in 2024, where Cody Rhodes defended the WWE Championship. Stephanie Vaquer also made her in-ring debut for WWE during that tour, shortly after signing with the company. Now, with WWE’s brand integration with AAA and a growing Latin American audience, the July shows appear to be more than just house events - they signal a cultural and commercial milestone for the promotion. These Supershows are part of WWE’s broader international strategy, which includes major events planned in Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia. With Mexico deeply rooted in wrestling tradition, this return could be a defining moment in WWE’s global calendar. For Mexican fans, this isn’t just a tour.
