WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Results: AJ Lee wins her first title after 11 years

WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 featured a huge collision between WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, and AJ Lee with The Man's title on the line. It was Lee's first singles match after more than a decade in the Stamford-based promotion.

She gave the fight of her life with her Chicago fans backing her and left the arena with her first title win in 11 years.

The tensions between Becky Lynch and AJ Lee had been prevailing since last September, when Lee made her return to WWE after a decade. The duo encountered each other in multi-man matches, and Lee had caused troubles for The Man each time. However, this was AJ Lee's first singles match since her first retirement from WWE in 2015.

Despite that, she was confident and had her hometown fans of Chicago in full support.The two women locked up and delivered hard-hitting moves and punches from the very beginning. Lee went up against Lynch in full force and did not show any ring rust when it came to singles competition. Towards the final part of the match, an accidental poke and kick knocked down referee Jessika Carr out of the mix. At that time, Lee made Lynch tap out to the Black Widow, but the referee did not see it.

Lee became frustrated, having the match won but no referee to see it, but it gave The Man enough time to recover and attack her.

The Man tried to take advantage of the situation, but the former WWE Divas Champion countered her underhanded tactics and kicked out of the Manhandle Slam. Before Carr recovered, Lynch removed one of the ring turnbuckles. However, the referee saw it before she could throw Lee straight into it. However, that proved to be her downfall as Lee smashed her face in it instead and locked in The Black Widow once again to make her tap out and become the new Women's Intercontinental Champion to a thunderous ovation.
