As of late, WWE superstars have been battling a collective injury bug. Liv Morgan and Seth Rollins are both expected to be out for a considerable amount of time. And recently, the promotion has embarked on the path of some brutal matches, which naturally expose wrestlers to more injuries.
The biggest example is Jade Cargill’s No Holds Barred bout against Naomi at Evolution 2. Moreover, names like Rhea Ripley and Goldberg have been battling injuries in recent times. And even officials like Charles Robinson seem to have joined the list. Let’s find out the status of these superstars after the company’s latest outings in the form of Saturday Night's Main Event and Evolution 2.
Injury Updates on Rhea Ripley, Goldberg, Jade Cargill, and Charles Robinson
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky put on a classic to close out Evolution 2.
Although ‘The Eradictator’ was unsuccessful in capturing the gold, the match was an all-out war with the duo executing many high-flying moves, inside and outside the ring. One of those was a cross-body slam from Sky to Ripley in the crowd, which looked nasty. However, there are no reports of Ripley being seriously injured after the bout. Although the former World Champion did suffer bruised ribs after her Night of Champions encounter against Raquel Rodriguez, which Ripley recently revealed on the PLE’s post-show.

Next up, Goldberg retired at Saturday Night’s Main Event after losing to Gunther. The match wasn’t a regular 3-minute outing but a 14-minute encounter that saw many stiff moments. Most notably, the Hall of Famer was seen wearing a knee brace on his left leg to support his depleting body.

After all, the 58-year-old was returning to action after 3 years and was expected to have some nibbles. However, ‘The Icon’ was reportedly healthy after his swansong.
However, the same cannot be said for Charles Robinson, who served as the referee in Goldberg’s final outing. In the dying moments of the bout, the former Universal Champion accidentally speared the referee when Gunther moved out of the way. The veteran official shared an update on Instagram and revealed that he suffered a legitimate rib injury after the encounter.
But he won’t be missing any shows owing to the spot. He wrote, “Thanks @goldberg95! Never fear…I am ALL MAN and I can’t be kept down! I will return for @wwe #smackdown next week in #SanAntonio!”
And finally, Jade Cargill defeated Naomi in a brutal No Holds Barred bout at Evolution 2.
The match saw both wrestlers taking vicious spots, including a steel chain to Naomi’s skull and Cargill going through the table on the ringside.

Her previous absence from action was credited to an injury, as reported by The Wrestling Observer, which saw her relinquish the Women’s Tag Titles. However, there have been no reports of Cargill being injured even after such a brutal outing at Evolution.
