WWE presented the March 2 episode of Monday Night RAW from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The show brought the fallout from the highly successful Elimination Chamber PLE and saw the coronation of a new champion, Seth Rollins, making his presence felt, and a huge confrontation between Roman Reigns and CM Punk.The show opened with The Vision coming to the ring. Paul Heyman addressed Seth Rollins’ return and costing Logan Paul the victory at the Elimination Chamber PLE. They tried to hijack the show, but Adam Pearce stopped them and asked to have a conversation. Then, two masked men appeared one after the other, and Logan Paul and Austin Theory went after them. A third one confronted Paul on the aisle and was revealed to be Seth Rollins, who took him down with a chair shot and a Stomp.
Gunther vs. Dragon Lee
This was a singles match that saw a great effort by Dragon Lee to stop Gunther. However, he fell to The Ring General’s wrath and tapped out to the sleeper hold move, just before Gunther pulled off his mask in the match.
Original El Grand Americano vs. Rayo Americano
The match saw a clash between two different yet similar lucha styles that Rayo Americano and the Original El Grande Americano brought to the mix. Los Americanos tried to interfere, but he tacked them and finished off Rayo with a Chaos Theory to win the match.
Jimmy Uso vs. Austin Theory
The two RAW superstars collided in a singles match. The match was exciting to witness, only for Logan Paul to punch down Jimmy Uso and it ending in a Disqualification win for him. Austin Theory and Logan Paul attempted to attack him, only for his brother Jey Uso to run down and make the save.
Penta vs Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio defended his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Penta in a singles contest. It was one of the best matches of the night, which saw an evenly matched showdown.
JD McDonagh attempted to interfere, but Finn Balor stopped him. This allowed Penta to avoid a 619 and hit the Destroyer on Mysterio to win the bout and become the new champion.
Roman Reigns returns
Roman Reigns returned at the end of the show, only for CM Punk to confront him. They went back and forth with heated words, discussing their storied history.
