WWE RAW Results & Highlights (9/22/25): Asuka betrays IYO Sky, Cody Rhodes Seth Rollins face-off ahead of Crown Jewel, and more

The fallout edition of WWE RAW for the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event took place on September 22nd, at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The show featured two champions facing off, a huge betrayal and highly captivating matches to conclude the show this week on the red brand.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins segment

The show opened with the face-to-face confrontation between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes & World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. They are set to compete against each other for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship at the namesake PLE. Rhodes took shots at Rollins for losing to him the last three times they competed, while calling his Vision stable goons. Rollins also revealed that he did not wear the watch Cody gave to him at WrestleMania 40.

The war of words ended in Tension as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed came down to the ring, but Rhodes walked out without confronting them.

The New Day and Grayson Waller vs. The War Raiders and Penta

This was a No Disqualification 6-man tag team match. The action all across the ringside area as both sides took full advantage of the stipulation. The match came to a conclusion when Penta countered Grayson Waller's Spanish Flyer into a Super Destroyer to seal the win for his team.

Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez

This was a one-on-one showdown between Bayley and Roxanne Perez, who had Lyra Valkyria and Raquel Rodriguez on their respective sides.

The captivating collision was a sight to witness and ended with Bayley hitting a combination of the running boot and a Rose Plant to pick up the win. After the match, Valkyria came into the ring and hugged her, but Bayley pushed her away.

JD McDonagh vs. Rusev

This was another singles match that seemingly looked like a one-sided affair. Despite a valiant effort by JD McDonagh, who also had Dominik Mysterio, he fell to the wrath of Rusev, who made him tap out of the Accolade, while Dirty Dom did nothing to save him.

Finn Balor tried to attack him post-match, but all three Judgment Day members were sent packing by Rusev.

Jey Uso vs. LA Knight

It was a highly captivating bout between two of the most popular WWE superstars of today, LA Knight and Jey Uso. The crowd was firmly divided in support of both, as they produced a stellar match. However, their weeks of tensions culminated in Jey's win following a spear and top rope splash combination for the win over The Megastar.

Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley's friendship led to tensions with Asuka, who did not want the same, leading to this main event match. Both women delivered a highly compelling bout, worthy of a RAW main event. Mami's hard-hitting style went up against the in-ring prowess of Asuka. The showdown came to an end after Asuka mistakenly took out Kairi Sane, and Ripley used a rollup to win. Following that, IYO Sky came to the ring to comfort her, but Asuka attacked her in a shocking moment.

Ripley attempted to help her but was blinded by Asuka's mist, and both were laid out as RAW concluded. Also read: WWE WrestlePalooza hit with harsh 'C' rating after streaming chaos & fan backlash
