The King and the Queen Of The Ring finalists were determined at an exciting episode of Monday Night Raw, among other results, ahead of the Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

The Night of the Champions qualifiers were decided at this week’s Monday Night Raw in Columbus on June 23. Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill booked their ticket for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, following victories in the King and the Queen Of The Ring semifinals.

While Rhodes defeated Jey Uso to set up an exhilarating final against Randy Orton, Cargill overcame an intense clash against Roxanne Perez to seal her victory. Here’s how the results shaped up at WWE Raw.

Cody Rhodes Vs Randy Orton In King Of The Ring Final

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso put aside their cordial relationship for an intense semifinal of the King Of The Ring. The former WWE Tag Team champions gave the fans plenty to savour from the main event of Monday Night Raw.

Rhodes and Uso landed heavy moves on each other before the match finished when Rhodes came up with a top rope cutter and a Cross Rhodes to cement his win, which finalised a summit clash with Randy Orton in Riyadh.

Jade Cargill Beat Roxanne Perez In Queen Of The Ring Semifinal

The Queen Of The Ring semifinal was just as intense and exciting. Cargill managed to defeat Perez, but not before she encountered multiple heavy blows from the prodigy.

Cargill used her size and strength to her advantage to ultimately overpower her. She unleashed a powerbomb on her opponent and booked her ticket to Saudi Arabia, where she will be taking on Asuka. Notably, Asuka came out and confronted Cargill just as she was celebrating her win. The moment raised anticipation of a great tussle between the two at Night Of Champions.

Becky Lynch Retains Women’s Intercontinental Championship

A costly intervention from Lyra Valkyria marked the chaotic end to Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship match against Bayley. Even as Valkyria tried to help Bayley, she ended up costing her the title following a disqualification that resulted in Lynch’s victory.

Lynch provoked Bayley into attacking her before the referee rang the bell, calling off the contest. In the dying moments, one could see Bayley and Valkyria arguing with each other while Lynch embraced her title on the entrance ramp.

In another highly competitive match at WWE Raw, Brok Breakker defeated Penta after executing a thunderous spear on his opponent. The former Intercontinental Champion secured his victory, having thwarted a springboard crossbody by Penta, cutting down his rival’s move on his way to a fantastic win.
