WWE SmackDown broadcast its March 6 episode from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The show presented the fallout from the Elimination Chamber PLE. It saw some exciting matches, feuds building up to WrestleMania 42, and major World title main event that saw Cody Rhodes regain the Undisputed WWE title from Drew McIntyre.The show opened with the 2026 Men's Elimination Chamber match, Randy Orton. He spoke about his upcoming match and looked forward to finding his opponent later that night. Orton was interrupted by Trick Williams, who, after talking smack to him, found himself planted on the mat with an RKO by Orton.
WWE United States Title Open Challenge
This week on SmackDown, AAA's Dr. Wagner answered Carmelo Hayes' open challenge for the US title. It was one of the most exciting matches of the night that had the audience glued to their seats.
The spectacular back and forth came to an end with Melo planting Not But Miss on Wagner to retain his title.
Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Kiana James & Giulia
The match was made after both tag teams interrupted new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend's celebration. The fast-paced tag showdown concluded with Charlotte Flair hitting the Natural Selection on Giulia to pick up the win for her team.
Tag Team Turmoil match
The match was made to determine the next No.1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
The Motor City Machine Guns and Fraxio started the match. Axiom pinned Alex Shelly despite Chris Sabin's attempt to break the fall, and MCMG was eliminated. Los Garza entered next. They eliminated Fraxiom and Wyatt Sicks, and it came down to them, R-Truth, and Damian Priest. The new team emerged victorious as they scored a double pinfall.
Johnny Gargano vs. Oba Femi
Johnny Gargano came down to the ring to lay an open challenge to anyone in the locker room.
Oba Femi emerged and accepted the match. He made quick work of Gargano and squashed him to pick up the win.
Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes
The main event match between Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes was for the Undisputed WWE title. Both superstars hit each other with their best shot, with heated tensions between them, and the opportunity to go to WrestleMania 42. As the match came down to its final moments, two referees were taken out. McIntyre attempted to use a chair, but Jacob Fatu stopped him. As he was about to hit another Claymore Kick, Rhodes ducked and hit the Cody Cutter.
