New Delhi: Xiaomi seems to be preparing for the introduction of its next fitness tracking product (Smart Band 11), as the device has been approved for networks in China. The new certification indicates that the new smart band is progressing towards the official introduction, but there is one detail that has not been changed from the previous model.

Xiaomi’s two new certified wearable gadgets, M2616B1 and M2617B1, with respective model numbers, have been approved by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), according to their certification documents. It is believed to be the standard Xiaomi Smart Band 11 and the NFC version of the band.

The other reference to the certification also shows that the 233mAh battery is in use with the Smart Band 11, just like in the current Smart Band 10. Xiaomi might not need to make the battery bigger; users concerned about battery life might expect the company to make improvements in the software and hardware levels.

For now, Xiaomi has not revealed all of the specifications of the wearable device it plans to offer in the market. The Smart Band 10 provides a good indication of what users can expect, however. It boasts 150+ sports modes, HyperOS 2.0, over 1500 nits peak brightness AMOLED display, and up to 21 days of battery life on normal use.

The industry’s hot guesses also suggest the Smart Band 11 might roll out in the second half of 2026, perhaps as late as July or August. The wearable has already been spotted at certification sites in China, Taiwan, and the UAE, suggesting that Xiaomi will be launching it globally.

Currently, it’s still limited information, but the certifications show that Xiaomi is busy developing its next-generation fitness band. It’s assumed that some more information on its battery usage, health tracking capabilities, updates to its software, and its cost will emerge in the next few weeks. Now for the Xiaomi Smart Band 11, it seems likely that the handset will focus on performance but not battery size, and perhaps even better features as well.
