Yamaha FZ-Rave launched in India: Price, specs, features & more

Yamaha has launched the new FZ-Rave in India, priced at Rs 1.17 lakh, ex-showroom. The new model joins the existing FZ lineup as a more accessible and city-friendly offering. Here's a quick look at the key details that you need to know about this new motorcycle.

In terms of design, the FZ-Rave looks unmistakable from the FZ family and features a LED projector headlamp, a sculpted fuel tank with signature air vents. The front of the bike features a compact, aggressive headlamp cluster framed by a sharply sculpted fuel tank with bold contours that lend it a muscular, big-bike stance. Besides that, it gets a blacked-out engine, chassis, and a high-mounted exhaust. At the rear, the single-seat design flows into a clean tail section with a sharp LED taillight.

There are two colour options on offer: Matte Titan and Metallic Black.

Powering the motorcycle is a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 136 kg and rides on 17-inch wheels. Fuel tank capacity is 13 litres.Braking duties are handled by front and rear disc brakes with single-channel ABS, while suspension duties are managed by a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. The instrument cluster is a compact LCD unit.
