Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has ruled over fans’ hearts for 17 years, becoming more than just a show and now, it’s a part of people’s daily lives. And Sunayana Fozdar, who plays Anjali Mehta, feels exactly the same. In a recent interview with a leading media outlet, she called the show “a true blessing from God" and opened up about what it really means to the audience.

She shared, “I think yeh logon ke dil mein basta hai aur characters bhi logon ke dil mein baste hain. Yeh aisi cheez hai jo number game se hatkar hai (I believe this show holds a special place in people’s hearts, and so do its characters. It goes beyond just TRPs or numbers)."

She added, “Bohot saare log hain jo 17 saal se show dekh rahe hain, aur naye log bhi jud rahe hain. Bhagwan ki Kripa hai, I think sab par (There are people who’ve been watching for 17 years, and new viewers keep joining. It truly feels like God’s blessing—for all of us involved)."

And her gratitude isn’t just words, Sunayana has seen the show’s impact firsthand. She recalled a touching moment during a hospital visit that truly moved her.

Speaking to ETimes, she said, “During a hospital visit, I noticed that this show is played in almost every room. Seeing that made me feel like, in our own way, this is how we’re contributing to the world-you know,by bringing a bit of comfort and joy to people even in tough times."

This only proves what fans already know that TMKOC is more than just a sitcom. It’s that daily dose of laughter, that go-to mood lifter — whether it’s a rough day at work, a quiet lunch break, or a happy family moment.
