‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ February 23 written update: Mukti and Maira admit they were jealous of each other’s family

The episode starts with Abhira dreaming that she is hugging Maira and crying. However, Mukti breaks her trance and asks her if she is upset as the principal called her for the fight.

While Abhira tells her not to think too much about it, Mukti instead confesses that she felt jealous of Maira. She further mentions that she felt weird after seeing that Maira had such a huge family and that she fought her for absolutely no reason. Abhira instead tells her that she should befriend Maira instead and asks her to share her pani puri with her. Though Mukti ends up refusing, saying that even after everything, Maira is still a rude person and that she does not want to connect with her.

Armaan apologizes to Maira

The scene shifts to Armaan and Maira talking on the phone after the principal cancels the meeting. Armaan apologizes to his daughter and says that he feels bad about not being able to reach the school premises on time. Maira also apologizes and says that she fought Mukti out of jealousy. She mentions that Mukti kept on talking and praising her mother, which made her jealous. Armaan tries to talk to her about her feelings; however, she refuses to say anything about her mother and what she has been dealing with.

Later on, Arman says that Abhira is walking on the road and remembers what happened in the past. Out of anger, he refuses to approach her; however, her scarf gets stuck in his car door. He rips it away, leaves it in the middle of the road, and drives away. As he reaches home, Meher talks to him about Maira’s issue and tells him that it is good that it was resolved. Armaan is still distracted after spotting Abhira and dives headfirst into work.Back at the hostel, Mukti reluctantly offers pani puri to Maira, and then mentions that her mother sent it for her. Maira gets jealous again and refuses to eat it, mentioning how she will get pimples if she does.

The Poddars discuss Maira and Armaan’s situation

Later in the day, the whole family sits around the carrom table and plays the game with full joy. They all also discuss the changes that Maira has been going through lately and how Armaan is dealing with everything.

When Madhav asks Kaveri to join them for the game, she refuses.Krish also reaches home, after which Tanya asks him to join them for the game. Vidya stops Krish and asks him where Armaan is. Krish expresses his surprise and says that Armaan left the office even before him.While Vidya worries about the matter, Manisha, who is busy clicking selfies, starts saying that Armaan must be meeting his girlfriend for Valentine’s Day.

Vidya gets angry, hearing all of this, and screams at Manisha. She, however, continues talking about it, and even mentions that they stopped celebrating Valentine’s Day because of Armaan. She further adds that they should have a Valentine’s Day party.The episode comes to an end as the scene shifts to Armaan roaming around the same road he spotted Abhira on and trying to find her scarf. When he does, he burns it and feels that he will now feel some peace.The promo for the next episode plays, showing Armaan drunk, getting out of his car at Abhira’s garage. As he falls to the floor, both Armaan and Abhira are left shocked to see each other.
