‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ March 1 written update: Vidya continues to blame Abhira for everything

The latest episode begins with Abhira requesting that Armaan never show his face at the garage ever again. Later on, at home, Armaan looks back at the situation, only to be interrupted by Meher.

She asks him what is wrong as he looks quite disturbed about everything. He tells her that he does not wish to talk about his personal life; however, he has to defeat Abhira no matter what.

Madhav and Vidya talk about Armaan

Meanwhile, Madhav tells Vidya to realize that Armaan is an adult and asks her to stop treating him as if he were still a child. Vidya, however, remains adamant and announces that she will not let Abhira near Maira and Armaan ever again. She says that if Abhira gets close to them again, she will ruin their lives.

Madhav still calls her out and reminds her that it was Armaan who went to her, not the other way around. Later on, Madhav shifts his rooms and confesses to Kaveri about everything that has been happening. He says that Abhira contacted them after so long, only for Vidya to treat her so badly and like a criminal. He recalls how Abhira stood by Vidya when Armaan abandoned her; however, she still chooses to blame everything on the girl.

Kaveri calms him down and tells him that Vidya’s world now revolves around caring for Armaan no matter what, and that they cannot fully blame her for her actions, as she truly believes that they are correct.

Maira takes care of Mukti

Meanwhile, Maira takes care of Mukti back at the hostel. She fetches her medicines and stays by her side. Mukti continues to panic; however, tells Maira that she needs her mother’s letter to calm down. Maira looks around and finds the letter that Mukti seems to be talking about.

Seeing Mukti calm down after reading the letter, Maira gets curious and asks her whether her mother’s words have that much power. When she nods, Maira breaks down as she remembers that she does not have a mother.

Later on, Maira books a cooking class for her father, which Mukti notices. She talks to Maira about her family and asks her why she is doing this. When Maira tells her that her father needs something relaxing, Mukti also gets interested.

She asks whether she can send her mother to the class as well, since she has been working so hard to repay the loan. Maira agrees and tells her that their parents can go together. Mukti confirms whether it will be awkward for them or not, to which Maira replies by saying that it will be fine.

Later on, Abhira and Armaan receive the cooking workshop notification. While Armaan refuses to attend because of his meetings, Abhira gets shocked seeing Maira’s name in the mail. She mistakes this for her daughter finding out about her and initiating contact to forgive her. A few minutes later, Mukti calls her and tells her about the workshop and tells her that she should talk to Maira about it. When Maira takes over the call and says hello, Abhira panics and cuts the call in a hurry.
