YMA leaders unhappy with Aizawl-Silchar NH maintenance work

Aizawl: Leaders of Young Mizo Association’s (YMA) central committee on Saturday expressed strong dissatisfaction with the progress of the Short Term Maintenance Contract work, which has been undertaken by the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), along the Vairengte-Sairang stretch of the Aizawl-Silchar national highway. Disappointed with its progress, YMA leaders said none of the contractors had even completed half of their assigned work. Inspecting the site, the YMA central leadership urged NHIDCL officials to finish their work before the monsoons next year. The inspection team was led by YMA central vice-president Prof. Lalnuntluanga.
