Yoon Jiyoon to exit from Izna: Group to continue with 6 members - Report

Rookie girl group Izna seems to be undergoing major lineup changes. In a recent announcement, the group’s management agency shared that one of the members will be leaving the group, and that they will continue forward as a 6-member group.Read to find out more about who left the group.

Yoon Jiyoon leaves Izna

Yoon Jiyoon, one of the members of Izna who had been on a long hiatus, is officially departing from the group. Their management agency issued an official statement, as per Koreaboo, sharing that the group will now continue with the remaining 6 members. Their statement read, “After long and careful consideration, YOON JI YOON has decided to conclude team activities. Since the beginning of this year, YOON JI YOON has been focusing on rest and recovery”.The statement also shared that the company, as well as Jiyoon both had long discussions about the matter, and in order to prioritize her health, came to the conclusion that the singer would suspend her activities with the group.They continued in their statement, saying, “We are truly sorry for any concern this sudden news may cause, and we will do our utmost to ensure that Izna can repay your support with great performances.

We kindly ask for your continued warm support and love for Izna as they continue to grow and move forward”.

About Izna

Izna is a rookie K-pop girl group that debuted in 2024. The group was originally formed from the winners of the survival variety show ‘I-Land 2: N/a’, and consisted of seven members in total before Jiyoon’s departure. The remaining members of the group include Mai, Bang Jee Min, Koko, Ryu Sa Rang, Choi Jung Eun, and Jeong Sae Bi. They made their debut in November last year through the release of their EP titled ‘N/a’. At the time of their debut, the girls received a lot of praise from the public for their songs.
