Recently, he has been in the spotlight for a viral video, which he posted a few days ago, accusing his family of harassment causing him depression.

When Anurag Dobhal met with an accident
This tragic Saturday night, everything changed in a heartbeat. While doing a live on Instagram, Dobhal's Toyota Fortuner smashed into a divider on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway at breakneck speed, around 150 kmph, while he was heading towards Delhi from Meerut. His SUV veered sharply, hit the divider near Hawa Hawai restaurant in Ghaziabad's Masuri area, and flipped multiple times, according to DCP (Rural) Surendra Nath Tiwari, as reported by The Times of India, leaving over 80,000 viewers stunned as the feed cut out abruptly.Fans watched in horror, flooding social media with prayers and worry. This wasn't just an accident; it felt personal, raw, and deeply emotional to his fans. Recently, his wife Ritika has posted an update on his health, which might give some sense of relief to his fans.
His chilling last words before the crash
During the livestream, Anurag made chilling comments like "Mummy, if I come in the next birth, just give me love" and "Let's go for the final drive," before saying "Himmat thi lekin ab log hi nahi bache. Kisko phone karu?"Passersby and fans helped to rush him to Subharti Hospital in Meerut first, according to a NDTV report.
Police arrived around 10:20 pm after emergency calls, and officials are probing if it was a deliberate act of self-harm.
Dobhal’s wife gives his health update
His wife Ritika shared a heartfelt Instagram Story update on Sunday, writing, "Anurag is doing fine. He did sustain some injuries, but he's strong and will recover soon." She added, "Right now it is a critical time for us, and we kindly request everyone not to spread any rumours or misinformation. What we truly need at this moment is all your prayers, support, and positive thoughts for him.

Backdrop of family turmoil
Just before the crash, Anurag posted a two-hour YouTube video alleging torture by his parents over his inter-caste marriage to Ritika in May 2024.He claimed they left him to handle the wedding alone six days prior and said, "Meri maut ke zimmedar mummy, papa, Kalam (brother), and Shreya. I have nothing left to do. I am under a lot of depression. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha kaise yeh feeling eliminate karoon. Iss video ke baad shayad main gayab ho jaaunga. Main bas sona chahta hoon. Paanch din se kuch khaaya nahi hai, dimaag ekdum khatam ho gaya hai."
