YSRCP leader condemns attacks on officials

YSRCP Employees and Pensioners’ Wing president Nalamuru Chandrasekhar Reddy blamed the government for the increasing attacks on employees in the State.

Mr. Chandrashekar Reddy addressing a press conference on Monday said that attacks on government employees by the ruling party leaders were creating panic.

He said that the high-handed behaviour of Assembly Speaker Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu against a police officer in Dondapudi village in an event recently was shocking.

Citing a few more incidents, he said Jana Sena Party leader K. Mahesh attacked a home guard in Machilipatnam for not saluting him. In another incident, a TDP MLA kidnapped and assaulted the Forest Department officers, and another TDP MLA Kuna Ravi Kumar harassed a woman employee over phone, Mr. Chandrashekar Reddy alleged.

He demanded stern action against the accused involved in the attacks.
