Zoho has rolled out a new upgrade to its popular note-taking app, Zoho Notebook introducing a suite of advanced AI-powered features designed to revolutionise how individuals and teams capture, organise and manage information.
Along with this, Zoho Notebook has enhanced its free student edition with the latest AI-powered updates, giving students access to the platform’s newest innovations. Powered by Zoho’s proprietary AI stack, Zia, the new Notebook AI features bring intelligent automation to everyday note-taking. Users can now access tools like:
- Intelligent Q&A Assistant: Offers context-aware answers from personal notes or generates insights on any topic.
- Meeting Notes: Transcribes spoken content into organized, timestamped summaries with speaker identification.
- Mind Map Generation: Converts lengthy documents into visual mind maps for easier comprehension.
- Smart Note Creation: Instantly builds structured content like checklists, tables, and reusable templates.
- Writing Enhancement: Refines content with grammar fixes, tone adjustments, and concise summaries.
- Multilingual Voice Search & Translation: Supports 80 global languages, including eight Indian languages, enabling voice-driven search and content translation.
- Tone and Voice Customisation: Allows users to tailor content tone—professional, friendly, direct, or confident—based on audience needs.
The update also introduces shared workspaces and whiteboard functionality, enabling teams to collaborate across formats including text, sketches, and images.
Seamless integration with Zoho CRM, Projects, and Mail positions Notebook as a central hub for organisational knowledge, reducing silos and improving workflow continuity.In a major boost for students, Zoho has expanded its free student edition to include all Notebook AI features.
