Vijayawada: A 12-day national integration camp under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative concluded at KL College on Monday, bringing together NCC cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh to promote cultural exchange and national integration.The camp featured educational, cultural and recreational activities aimed at strengthening interaction between cadets from the two states. As part of the programme, participants visited the Suryalanka Air Force Station, Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Mangalagiri, Suryalanka Beach, the TTD temple and the Undavalli Caves to gain exposure to the region’s cultural heritage and defence establishments.Cadets also took part in debate competitions, extempore speeches and interactive sessions designed to enhance communication skills, leadership and confidence.A cultural evening was one of the highlights of the camp, with cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh presenting traditional performances showcasing the heritage of their respective states and reinforcing the theme of “Unity in Diversity”.Speaking at the valedictory ceremony, the KL College management appreciated the efforts of the NCC Directorate, camp officials and cadets in organising the programme. They congratulated the participants for their discipline, enthusiasm and commitment to promoting national integration.Organisers said the camp helped foster cultural harmony, leadership and patriotism among the participating cadets.
