Guwahati: The entrepreneurship cell of IIT-Guwahati successfully hosted the 18th edition of its flagship annual entrepreneurial summit, UDGAM’26 – Odysseys Beyond Ordinary, from Jan 23 to 25.A total of 12 startups bagged Rs 4.5 lakh grants each during the event.The three-day extravaganza featured a packed schedule of impactful events, competitions, and sessions, a statement read. The startup expo showcased innovations from 60+ startups and connected them with 15+ investors.Disrupt, the northeast’s largest startup boot camp, culminated with 11 finalists pitching their ventures and one securing an investment offer of Rs 1.5 crore.The North-East Launchpad selected 12 startups from over 100 applications, awarding grants worth Rs 4.5 lakh.The popular Internfair connected students with 40+ companies, offering 90+ roles and stipends up to Rs 50,000. Panel discussions such as Grids and Gaps and alumni session ‘Chai pe Charcha’ brought insights from industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs.Keynote lectures featured Vivek Sridhar (Microsoft for Startups), Jugadu Kamlesh (KG Agrotech), and an online session by Kiran Bedi.
