18-year-old stabbed, injured in Mhow

Times News NetworkMhow: An 18-year-old youth was stabbed and seriously injured following a dispute over bike overtaking near Brahmin Dharmshala in Chanagodam area on Wednesday evening.“The incident occurred when Golu Bhuriya, a resident of Kassi Kho village falling under Manpur police station area, was returning home from Indore on his motorcycle. While he was passing through Chanagodam area of Mhow, another bike came near his vehicle. As per the eyewitnesses, Golu tried to speed up, on which he had an altercation with two persons on the other bike. The verbal altercation escalated and one of the accused allegedly attacked Golu with a knife, inflicting a serious injury to his abdomen.

The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack,” Mhow police station in charge Rahul Sharma told TOI.Passersby rushed the injured youth to civil hospital, where doctors described his condition as serious.
