Class 10 students across the State extensively used the Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance service to download their hall tickets for the upcoming public examinations, reflecting a growing shift toward digital access to government services.
For the first time, the government has enabled students appearing for the Class 10 public examinations to obtain their hall tickets through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance number 9552300009.
According to official data, the Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance service recorded 3,16,990 hits from Class 10 students, of which 2,38,728 students successfully downloaded their hall tickets.
In addition, 65,477 students downloaded their hall tickets from the Education Department’s LEAP app, while the highest number—7,53,834 students—accessed their hall tickets through the official website.
Officials said that the trend indicates a significant rise in digital awareness among students appearing for the Class 10 public examinations. Unlike earlier years, when most students visited their schools to collect hall tickets, this year lakhs of students opted to obtain them digitally through online platforms, the Mana Mitra service, and the LEAP app.
The shift has considerably reduced the need for students to visit schools for collecting physical hall tickets, marking an important step towards expanding digital governance in the education sector, according to a press release.
