At least two people died in the wee hours of Monday in a stampede-like situation outside the Awsaneshwar Mahadev Temple in Haidergarh. The incident occurred when an electric wire reportedly fell on a tin shed, causing electric shocks to several people.
Devotees had gathered in large numbers for darshan on the third Monday of the Sawan month.
