2-yr-old boy dies after tree branch falls on him during thunderstorm

Prayagraj: A 2-year-old boy was killed and a 3-year-old girl sustained injuries after they were trapped under the branches of a tree which fell due to heavy rains and storm in Teva village under the limits of Manjhanpur police station of Kaushambi district on Tuesday night.

Upon being alerted, senior police and administrative officials rushed the spot and carried out rescue operation. A senior cop said due to heavy rains and storm, a heavy branch of tree fell on electric poles and trapped two kids in Teva village. While two year-old boy died, the treatment of three year old girl was underway.
