23-year-old killed in H’bag accident

Hazaribagb: A 23-year-old man died while another was seriously injured when a speeding pick-up van hit their motorcycle near Tilaiya Basti of Kolhuakala panchayat in Barhi block on Wednesday.

Pick-up van driver Babu Kumar has been arrested, police said.Officer in-charge of the Barhi police station, Vinod Kumar, said, “The deceased was identified as Vishal Kumar Singh (23), a resident of Indarwa village, while the injured was identified as his brother-in-law, Gautam Singh. They were on way to their aunt’s house at Mahuatand Bela village in Barhi block.”“They were taken to the Barhi sub-divisional hospital, where doctors referred Gautam to Hazaribag. Vinod’s body was handed over to the family members,” he added.
