3 employees of liquor contractor injured in stone-pelting in Dhar village

Times News NetworkThree employees of a liquor contractor were injured after a group of unidentified persons pelted stones at them on Monday night near Nanpur crossing, close to Umrali village in Dhar district.Dahi police registered a case against unidentified persons early Tuesday morning following a complaint by one of the injured employees.“The employees of liquor contractor were in the area to check the sale of illegal liquor since Monday evening. As per the complainant Rajaji, of Lalitpur in UP, he, along with his aides Rahul, Banty, Shailendra and Narendra Singh, was passing through Nanpur crossing near Umrali village when they saw a person coming on a scooter carrying two cartons of liquor. They asked him to stop and just after that around a dozen persons arrived there on five bikes and started hurling stones at the contractor's team. Rajaji, Rahul and Banty were injured in the stone-pelting and were taken to the primary health centre of Dahi.

They were given first aid and were then referred to Dhar district hospital,” Dahi police station sub-inspector Than Singh Jamra told TOI.Jamra said police registered a complaint against unidentified persons.
