A 32-year-old man was arrested in Gurugram for flashing at a model at Rajiv Chowk, an incident she filmed and posted online. Police identified Abhilash Kumar through CCTV footage.

Gurugram influencer uploads video narrating ordeal

A 32-year-old man, who flashed at an influencer in Haryana’s Gurugram on August 2, has been arrested. The influencer had filmed the man flashing at her, and the viral video showed him allegedly masturbating in front of her in a busy intersection in Gurugram.

In the video, posted on August 5, the model mentioned that the incident happened while he was waiting for a cab at Rajiv Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway.

The accused, Abhilash Kumar, who works as an assistant manager at a private firm, was identified and arrested after the police scanned CCTV footage in the area.

During questioning, the accused said he is married, has a son and lives in a rented accommodation.

He also said he was returning from his son’s school when he stopped at Rajiv Chowk, where he saw the model and confessed to committing the crime, police said.

The accused will be produced before a court on Wednesday for further proceedings.
