35-yr-old woman dies by suicide at home

Bhopal: A 35-year-old woman died allegedly by suicide at her residence in Vinayak Colony of Patanjali Parisar under Gandhi Nagar police station limits on Wednesday morning.Police said her husband had left for work around 6 am, while the woman remained at home with her six-month-old child and mother-in-law.

When she did not come out of the bathroom for a long time, her mother-in-law checked and found her body.Family members rushed her to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead. No suicide note was recovered from the spot.During preliminary inquiry, police learnt that the couple’s 10-year-old son had died about a year ago after accidentally getting entangled in a noose while playing. Police suspect she had been under stress since the incident. A case was registered and further probe is on.
