50% waiver for traffic penalties: ₹29.97 cr. collected in Mysuru

A total of ₹29.97 crore have been collected with regard to 12,70,876 traffic offences registered in the city during the 50% waiver period offered by the State government.

With the State government offering a 50% waiver on the unpaid traffic penalties for motorists clearing the outstanding amount between August 21, 2025, and September 12, 2025, a statement issued by the Mysuru City Police on Saturday said that a total of ₹29,97,64,030 had been collected from 12,70,876 traffic offences.
