6 hurt as engine failure forces evacuation of Zurich-bound flight at Delhi airport

One of the engines of a Swiss Air aircraft operating a flight to Switzerland's Zurich reportedly caught fire at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, prompting an emergency evacuation of the airliner while it was still on the runway. At least six passengers are reported injured and hospitalised, according to news agency Reuters.

According to news reports, the incident took place when one of the aircraft's engines failed and caught fire during takeoff roll.
