7,181 candidates to appear for NEET at 16 centres in Coimbatore district on May 3

COIMBATORE: As many as 7,181 candidates will appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS and BDS, to be held in 16 centres in Coimbatore district on May 3. The exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency, will be held from 2 pm to 5.20pm. Candidates will be allowed entry into examination centres only between 11am and 1.30pm.The exam centres include Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sulur; PSG College, Peelamedu; Nirmala College for Women, Sungam; Kongunadu Arts and Science College, GN Mills; Government Model Higher Secondary School, Ashokapuram; Government Arts College, Coimbatore; Corporation Higher Secondary School, Sidhapudur; and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sowripalayam, among others.Each centre will accommodate a minimum of 149 and a maximum of 720 candidates.Electronic devices like wristwatches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, cameras and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the examination halls.
