70-year-old woman dies after suspected poisonous bite in Karnataka; police register case

UDUPI: A woman died after she was reportedly bitten by a poisonous creature near her home in Hemmadi village, Kundapur. The deceased has been identified as Anni Mary, 70.In a complaint filed by her daughter, Ankita Buthello, it was stated that Anni Mary went to the farm near their residence around 4:00 pm on Tuesday when she was bitten by an unidentified poisonous creature and suddenly fell ill.

She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Kundapur for treatment. However, despite medical intervention, she passed away later that evening. The Kundapur Police have registered a case.
