Carlos Alcaraz finished 2025 with a 71-9 record, leading the ATP tour and joining an elite group of men with 70 plus wins and fewer than 10 losses in a single season.

Carlos Alcaraz didn’t just dominate 2025 — he played his way into one of the rarest statistical clubs in modern tennis.
The 22-year-old closed the season with a scorching 71-9 record, the most wins of any player on either tour. And on the ATP side, it was a blowout. No one else even touched 60.
ATP Wins Leaders, 2025
- 71 — Carlos Alcaraz (71-9)
- 58 — Jannik Sinner (58-6)
- 57 — Alexander Zverev (57-25)
- 56 — Alex de Minaur (56-24)
- 53 — Taylor Fritz (53-23)
But the real headline is the history: Alcaraz is now just the sixth man this century to record 70+ wins and fewer than 10 losses in a single season — a club reserved almost exclusively for generational giants.
Men With 70+ Wins & <10 Losses This Century
In the last nine seasons, only two men have hit the benchmark: Sinner… and now Alcaraz. That’s the whole list.
And the numbers get even louder. Alcaraz also led the sport in titles this year with eight, including:
- Two Grand Slams: Roland Garros, US Open
- Three Masters 1000s: Monte Carlo, Rome, Cincinnati
- Three ATP 500s: Rotterdam, Queen’s, Tokyo
Only two men in the last decade have reached eight or more titles in a single season: Murray in 2016 (nine) and Sinner in 2024 (eight). Even fewer have combined eight titles with a 70-win season.
So yes — eight trophies, two Slams, 71 wins, and one season that cements Alcaraz firmly in tennis lore.
And the scariest part? He still looks like he’s only getting warmed up.
