An 80-year-old man died after a speeding car hit his bicycle in Narnaul on Thursday morning. The driver fled the spot after the crash, and police have registered a case based on a complaint filed by the victim's son.

According to the complaint submitted by Jagjit, his father, Lal Singh (80), had gone out for his daily morning ride on a bicycle. At around 6:30 am, while returning home on Singhana Road, a speeding car hit his bicycle while he was crossing the road.

The impact threw Lal Singh onto the road, leaving him critically injured. He died at the scene, according to the complaint.

CCTV footage of the incident captured the entire sequence. The video shows the elderly man, dressed in a white kurta and dhoti, riding his bicycle along the edge of the road for several metres before attempting to cross the road.

The footage shows the speeding car striking the bicycle. The collision was so severe that Lal Singh was flung nearly 10 feet into the air before landing about 20 metres away on the road. The CCTV footage clearly captures the elderly cyclist being hurled through the air after the impact.

Following the incident, the car driver fled the scene. Jagjit has urged the police to take action against the accused driver. Police have registered a case and initiated further proceedings based on the complaint.
