9-foot crocodile rescued at Vasna-Bhayli Road

Vadodara: A huge crocodile crawled into a housing colony on Vasna-Bhayli Road on Tuesday night. Locals saw the nine-foot reptile and alerted residents. A team of forest department rushed to the spot and captured the crocodile.

It took a while to trap the reptile as it got aggressive. With the city receiving rains, crocodiles from lakes and the Vishwamitri River, often venture out to migrate to other water bodies.
