A CCTV video has surfaced showing the aircraft carrying Ajit Pawar plunging from the sky and erupting into flames while attempting to land near Baramati.

A CCTV video that has emerged from near the crash site has captured chilling visuals of the aircraft, carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar, plunging from the sky moments before erupting into flames.

The footage, recorded by a roadside camera, shows the plane descending sharply, followed by a sudden flash as it hits the ground.

Within seconds, a massive ball of fire can be seen rising from the impact zone, accompanied by thick plumes of dark smoke that quickly envelop the surrounding area.

The crash claimed the lives of Pawar, 66, and five others on board the aircraft while it was attempting to land near Baramati in Pune district on Wednesday morning.
