Actress Ashnoor Kaur reflects on her Bigg Boss experience as a growth opportunity, emphasising her focus on career and personal development.

From Bigg Boss to new ambitions, the actress says this phase of life is about growth and career. Ashnoor Kaur says her recent stint on Bigg Boss was less about strategy and more about stepping out of her comfort zone. The 21-year-old actress shares, “It was honestly a roller-coaster experience for me. I had been offered the show for three or four years, but last year the timing finally worked out. I decided to treat it as an experience because I had never done a reality show before. I was told it’s a personality show and you just have to be yourself — and that’s exactly what I did.”During the show, her camaraderie with actor Abhishek Bajaj became a talking point, sparking speculation among viewers.

Ashnoor, however, maintains that their bond remains exactly what it was inside the house — friendship.“We’re still very good friends. We’ve always been clear that we share a very pure, precious bond. Fans sometimes imagine things and make edits, but that’s also their way of showing love. They’ve always respected our boundaries,” she says. At 21, the actor adds that romance is not on her priority list. “Right now, this phase of my life is about work.

I have many goals and dreams that I’m actively working towards. Love can happen anytime, but it’s not something I’m looking for.

Professionally, Ashnoor says she is taking a measured approach to her career and choosing projects carefully. “I’m looking for strong storylines and performance-oriented roles where I can explore my depth as an actor. Earlier, television required long commitments, but now there’s more movement between platforms.”The visibility that comes with a show like Bigg Boss can be a double-edged sword, she adds. “It opens doors and you meet more people, but sometimes projects also want someone who isn’t such a familiar face. I prefer to focus on the positives. I believe life reflects your mindset, and I see this year as one of growth.”
