ACB unearths properties worth ₹2.76 crore linked to A.P. Bhavan Special Liaison Officer

Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted searches on the properties of Kaduru Chinna Appanna, Special Liaison Officer at A.P. Bhavan in New Delhi, and allegedly unearthed assets worth over ₹2.76 crore.

Multiple ACB teams carried out simultaneous searches at the residences of the accused officer and his family members in Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Anakapalli, Tadepalli and Vijayawada on Monday.

During the raids, the officials reportedly identified five plots at Tagarapuvalasa in Visakhapatnam, three plots at Marripalem village in Anakapalli district, flats in Visakhapatnam and an investment of ₹45 lakh in a company based in Bengaluru.

The ACB officials also found a four-wheeler and other valuables during the searches. A case has been registered by the Visakhapatnam Range ACB for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets (DA), and further investigation is underway, according to an official release.

The investigation officers said that Kaduru Chinna Appanna was appointed at A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi, in 2019 on a fixed remuneration of ₹75,000 along with other allowances for a period of three years. His services were later extended for another two years.
