Actor-Model Harshil Kalia Dies In Jaipur Road Accident After Car Crashes Into Divider

A case has been registered in the matter, and the police said they are working to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Actor and model Harshil Kalia died on Monday after losing control of her car, which crashed into a divider in Jaipur.

The accident took place on Jaipur’s Shipra Path Road while she was returning home from work around 11:30 pm. CCTV footage shows her vehicle hitting the divider and overturning onto its left side.

Soon after the local saw the car crushing into the divider, they tried to rescue Kalia and rushed the 30-year-old immediately to a private hospital. She had sustained severe head injuries, and doctors at the hospital pronounced her dead.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered in the matter, and the police said they are working to determine the exact cause of the accident, specifically whether the vehicle was speeding or if another vehicle attempted to overtake it.

The police have conducted a post-mortem examination and have handed over the body to the family members.

Kalia had appeared in the web series Crime Next Door, worked as a news channel anchor, and featured as the lead female in several Rajasthani music videos. Recently, she has been focusing on her modelling career.

Her father is also connected to journalism and is employed with a private newspaper.
