Popular streamer Adin Ross surprised fans by saying he bought the famous house used in the hit TV show Breaking Bad. He made the announcement during a livestream on February 8, saying he “won the bid” for the house in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ross said he plans to make the house look exactly like it did in the show and treat it as a monument.
He also shared that his dad was very excited about the purchase. Fans immediately reacted with surprise and curiosity, as the property listing is still publicly active, making some question if the purchase is real.Ross also talked about what he plans to do with the house. He said he wants to involve show actors and allow himself, his family, friends, and other streamers to use the property, but he does not plan to sell it. “This beats any watch, any car, anything I’ve bought before,” he said. Ross insisted the purchase is real and said he has signed all the papers, even as followers expressed skepticism. The streamer wants the house to stay in good condition and serve as a tribute to the show.
Adin Ross plans to recreate the ‘Breaking Bad’ house exactly
The house is well known for being the home of Walter White and his family in Breaking Bad, which starred Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Anna Gunn, among others.
Only the exterior of the house was used in filming. The previous owner, Joanne Quintana, had grown tired of constant fans visiting the property, throwing pizzas on the roof, and causing disturbances. She put the house on sale in January 2025 for nearly $4 million, but it did not sell.
Realtor.com later suggested the house was overpriced for the area and relisted it on February 3, 2026, at $400,000.
Ross said he is already talking with some of the show’s actors and hopes they can share ownership of the house.
He emphasized that the property will be taken care of and treated with respect. Despite some doubts online, Ross insists the purchase is real and that he wants to turn the house into a special place for fans and friends. The news has sparked curiosity among online readers, who are apparently interested about the possibility of a streamer purchasing such a legendary piece of television history. In a way, the proposed deal represents a rather unique tribute to the legendary television series, enabling both fans and streamers to have their own experience within the famous mansion.
