Admin removes shrine built illegally on govt land

Bahraich: Acting tough against encroachments, district authorities in Bahraich removed an illegally constructed shrine from govt land in Motipur police station area.The action was carried out after officials received information that a shrine was constructed overnight on govt land.A joint team of police and revenue officials reached the spot and conducted an inspection. After verifying the facts, the authorities directed the person responsible for the construction to remove the structure.Officials said the shrine was demolished without any resistance or disturbance.
