The Indiana Fever recently signed a new player. On Saturday, August 23, the team made the announcement that Aerial Powers had signed a seven-day hardship contract. The guard was taken by the Dallas Wings as the fifth overall selection in the 2016 WNBA Draft.

She was the veteran of nine WNBA seasons. She was also named to the WNBA All-Rookie team. Moreover, Aerial Powers spent one season with the Atlanta Dream and three seasons with the Minnesota Lynx.

Guard Aerial Powers has recently signed a seven-day hardship contract with the Indiana Fever. The organization announced the same on Wednesday. The Golden State Valkyries waived Aerial Powers on June 25 after she played in two games earlier this season.The 5-11 guard helped the Washington Mystics win the WNBA Championship. For the Indiana Fever, Aerial Powers will wear number 23. She is a veteran WNBA player. She was a member of the Washington Mystics team that took home the WNBA Championship in 2019.

In addition, she played for the Atlanta Dream in 2024 and the Minnesota Lynx for three seasons, from 2021 to 2023. The Golden State Valkyries were her most recent team. Throughout her career, she has averaged 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.

According to the team, on Sunday, August 24 at 7 p.m., the Indiana Fever will take on the Minnesota Lynx at the Target Centre.
