India on February 6, 2026, successfully test-fired the intermediate-range ballistic missile Agni-3 from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha.

The launch validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile. The test was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command, confirming the system’s reliability and readiness.

With this test, the Agni series of missiles continues to strengthen India’s strategic capabilities. The series includes Agni-1 with a range of 700 km, Agni-2 with a range of 2,000 km, Agni-3 with a range of 3,000 km, Agni-4 capable of striking targets up to 4,000 km, and Agni-5, which has the longest striking range of 5,000 km.
