The Halasuru police are on the lookout for a 20-year-old Agniveer trainee who went missing from the MEG and Centre here on Wednesday last.
The trainee, identified as Dayyala Satish, a native of Ranga Reddy district in Telangana, allegedly left a message on the training batch app group, stating that he was disturbed and was not able to attend training sessions due to a leg injury. He joined the training in April.
Dayyala Komaraiah, a farmer, in a complaint, said that he received a call from the MEG and Centre saying Satish had been missing since June 25.
Koramaiah tried to call Satish’s two mobile numbers, but they were switched off. He then approached the police and filed the complaint.
The police have tracked Satish’s movements in Telangana, and are tying to get in touch with people with whom he has communicated.
