Last day today to apply online for AIIMS NORCET 10 Nursing Officer recruitment 2551 vacancies
AIIMS NORCET 10: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited online applications for 2,551 Nursing Officer posts through the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10.
The recruitment process aims to fill positions in AIIMS institutions and associated healthcare facilities located across India.The online registration process opened on February 24, 2026 and the last date to submit applications is March 16, 2026 up to 5:00 PM. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official examination portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.Recruitment details and eligibility requirementsThe recruitment drive seeks to appoint Nursing Officers in AIIMS institutions and affiliated health establishments across the country.
Candidates selected through the examination may be posted at different locations depending on institutional requirements.Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age. The age limit will be determined as on March 16, 2026, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories according to government rules.In terms of educational qualifications, candidates must possess either a B.Sc Nursing degree or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification along with at least two years of relevant work experience.
Application fee and registration guidelinesThe application fee has been fixed at Rs 3,000 for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. Applicants from SC, ST and EWS categories are required to pay Rs 2,400, while persons with benchmark disabilities are exempted from paying the application fee. The payment must be completed through online mode.Applicants are required to complete the online application form carefully as changes may not be possible after submission.
Authorities have advised candidates to read the detailed advertisement and eligibility conditions before applying.
Candidates who have previously registered under the One Time Registration (OTR) system or any earlier examination must apply using the same registration ID. Submitting an application with a different registration ID may lead to cancellation of candidature.Examination schedule and selection processAccording to the schedule, the Stage I computer based test is planned for April 11, 2026, followed by the Stage II examination on April 30, 2026.
Information regarding the city of the examination centre will be released on April 4, 2026 and admit cards will be uploaded on April 8, 2026.The selection process includes a written examination, document verification and a medical examination. The status of application acceptance will be announced on March 24, 2026, while corrections for rejected forms can be submitted between March 25 and March 27, 2026. Candidates employed in government or public sector institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate by March 20, 2026.
