On August 23, the couple appeared on the talk show titled 'Let’s GO 5’. There, the two talked about married life as well as the challenges that they have been facing. At the time when their relationship was made public, Si Hun had been targeted by false allegations and rumours about how he was a manager for women in adult broadcasts.He shared that, “I spent a lot of time sitting alone in the corner of an underground parking lot.

I even started smoking again after having quit”.Shedding light on how much the rumours affected him, he said, “I distanced myself from acting for a while."Ailee also added her own perspective about how, even though her husband wanted a lot more privacy, that was taken away from him when they went public and got married. She also mentioned how rumours about him kept popping up online, which took a major toll on their mental health. While talking about dealing with such rumours, she shared that a lot of issues popped up during their honeymoon, and in order to enjoy their time together, they kept their phone off for most of their vacation.Si Hun also added, “Ailee also has a lot of challenges just being in the entertainment industry. I feel sorry that my situation could have caused her additional stress”.
